‘App-racadabra!’
Thursday November 19th
10am-11.30am

The AT Social Hub is back for another hour of tips, tricks and technology tales!

Thank you to all those who were able to attend our last session ‘What’s Your Story?’, which focused on how you have been using assistive technology throughout the lock down periods. For anyone who missed this, please find the recorded content via the link below.

For our next instalment, Sam and the ‘Two Stuart’s’ will be exploring the magic of smart phone Apps! Our phones have been a valuable resource this year as we all attempt to remain connected during the various lock downs throughout the country.

Accessible smart phone Apps have become a fantastic (and free!) tool for many people with sight loss and learning disabilities. We aim to put some of these Apps to the test and to hear how you have been using your smart phones and tablets for both personal and professional use.

Please do come armed with any questions, queries or quibbles that you would like to share with the other Social Hub members.

This session is also suitable for teachers, parents and assistive technology beginners.

“For most people, technology makes things easier. For those with a disability, it makes things possible!”

Now more than ever assistive technology is invaluable to those with sight loss or a visual impairment. We have a solution that could be hugely beneficial to you or a family member so please do come and join other AT users as we share our experiences and support each other along the way 😊
