This year we have included our annual review within the accounts to help find out about the impact of our work. 2022/23 was an exciting year for Seescape, and our key achievements included:
- the launch of our modern and bright new Visual Impairment Hub in Glenrothes
- doubling the number of clients we supported, with consistently good feedback about the impact of our work
- introducing a range of new services within our Hub, including weekly drop-ins, and a range of social events and classes
- acquiring a huge amount of new accessible technology to showcase to clients and establish Seescape as leaders in accessible technology for the visually impaired
- a rebranding exercise to modernise and improve our approach to marketing and communications
- expanding our Community Engagement work, enabling us to support more people across Fife who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation
- recruiting a new Trainee Rehabilitation Specialist to allow us to strengthen our capacity and support more clients with independent living skills
