Our next session is entitled;
‘ReFOCUS Your Braille Connectivity’
For our next AT Social Hub session will explore the power of Braille
solutions in order to enhance your productivity. Stuart from
seescape will be demonstrating the Focus Fifth Generation Braille
display and how it works in tandem with JAWS when it is connected
to a computer via USB, allowing the user to fully control a Windows
computer directly from their Braille Display.
In addition, the Focus also has built-in Bluetooth which allows five
different devices to be paired. A very useful option is to connect a
smart phone or tablet with the Focus, again allowing full control
using the Braille Display to easily send text messages, emails, surf the web etc.
This session is also suited to teachers, parents and others who
support users and who wish to improve their understanding of
Braille technology.
